Do You Have a View About Traffic Noise? - 29/01/2008
Transport for Quality of Life, with the help of the Snowdonia Society, are carrying out a survey to find out what effects the noise of traffic has on people's experience of the Snowdonia countryside. This is part of a UK-wide study for the U.K. Noise Association that is looking at the impacts of noise from roads on rural areas.
Snowdonia-Active to Manage Mawddach Project - 29/10/2007
Snowdonia-Active has secured a tender from the Forestry Commission Wales (FCW) and the Countryside Council for Wales (CCW) to manage the Afon Mawddach Exemplar Project. The beautiful Afon Mawddach with its remote source in the uplands north of Dduallt and eventual meeting with the Irish Sea in the Barmouth Estuary, is one of the rivers selected as part of a wider scheme to encourage the public to enjoy the rivers and lakes of Wales, recently announced by Assembly Minister Jane Davidson.
