Environmental Training 07/02/2013

An environmental training evening is being held by the North Wales Environmental Outdoor Charter Group (NWEOCG), in collaboration with Nature's Work, at four different venues during February and March (All 7.00 - 9.00 p.m.)
  • Wednesday 13th February, Pwllheli Sailing Club, LL53 5YT

  • Wednesday 27th February, Widehorizons Ty'n y Berth OEC, SY20 9RH

  • Thursday 14th March, Widehorizons Bryntysilio OEC, LL20 8BS

  • Thursday 21st March, Conway Centres, Anglesey, LL61 6DJ
At each session the NWEOCG co-ordinator, Catherine Miles, will explain the rationale behind setting up the Group and the Environmental Charter together with the benefits of joining.

It is a chance for an open discussion regarding environmental issues in your area, to suggest ways of minimising the impact of outdoor activity users and highlight your environmental training requirements.

Jim Langley, director of Nature's Work, will lead a practical workshop at each session.

Afterwards there will be an opportunity to sign up to the Environmental Charter and become a member of NWEOCG. Please visit www.northwalesoutdoorforum.com to preview a draft copy of the Environmental Charter and have your input before the sessions.

Attendance at these meetings is free of charge but please contact chartergroup@snowdonia-active.com to register your interest in coming to one of these events.
