Snowdonia in Washington
Wales will be the featured nation at the 2009 Smithsonian Folklife Festival taking place on Washington's National Mall from 24th - 28th June and during the first week of July. This is an annual, cultural festival run by the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage. Chris Wright, Snowdonia-Active's Chief Exec. will be one of four participants including the Tremadog based adventurer, Eric Jones, representing Wales in the 'Ecotourism' category. He'll be joining a total of around 130 Welsh performers and craftspeople.  More »
