Enjoying the Rivers and Lakes of Wales
A new Waterside Code and DVD have been produced to help people enjoy Wales' rivers and lakes in a responsible and sustainable way. The Waterside Code has been led by the Welsh Government in consultation with the main inland water activity user groups. The national code was a recommendation from the Assembly's Sustainability Committee's 2010 Inquiry into Access to Inland Water in Wales. The Countryside Council for Wales, supported by the Environment Agency, commissioned Snowdonia-Active to produce the DVD Enjoying the Lakes and Rivers of Wales as part of the ongoing series of reconciling conservation and recreation films.
