Alastair Lee will be returning to North Wales, where a good deal of On Sight
footage was shot, to introduce a special 52 min cut of this award winning film. It's only been out a few months and already won the Best Climbing Film and the Grand Prize at the 2008 Kendal Mountain Film Festival.
The film will be shown at the Caban Cafe and Alastair will follow this with an hilarious account of the 'behind the scenes' reality of how it was made
; including tales of frost-bitten buttocks, side-splitting out-takes from the likes of John Redhead, film making tips and an irreverent look at the UK grading system. A chance for budding film-makers to find out how much effort is really involved."Not since Hard Grit has a British climbing film threatened to change the sport more than Alastair Lee's latest effort On Sight."
Ed Douglas, Nov '08 Climber magazine.
