Footpaths get lost annually because they are no longer used. Trailblazers work hard to make sure that those rarely used footpaths stay open by heading out each week and retreading the footpath, collecting information for bodies such as the Council, Forestry Commission etc informing them of the condition of the footpath.
Once a month they invite the public to walk along new restored routes. Their next walk on October 6th is a newly restored valley walk following a recent open access designated section through the beautiful woodlands and countryside SE of Llanrwst. The walk lasts approximately 3-4 hours including a refreshment stop (please bring money for this). There are some short steep sections on the walk. Although aimed at older walkers, young adults and controlled dogs are welcome. For more info contact: Gwyn Jones 01492 641091/ 641191 or just turn up.
